Notes: 34 year old female had a ruptured silicone gel implant on the right side, as well as breast ptosis (droop), and her left implant rolled towards her armpit. Dr. Kavali removed both implants, did a capsulectomy on the right side, capsular revisions on both sides to correct implant positioning, and placed new Allergan silicone gel implants, soft touch, low profile, 230 cc under the muscle.

Notes: 52 year old female with several prior breast surgeries came to Dr. Kavali with concerns regarding breast pain and her implants sitting too close together, but falling under her arms when she leaned back. She had a breast implant exchange with removal of her old implants, placement of Allergan silicone gel, smooth, round, moderate profile, 405 cc implants, keeping them under the muscle. She had an internal bra (Surgimend, in this case) placed to support the position of the implants. She is shown before and about 1 year after surgery.
Notes: Removal of both 400 cc saline implants and replacement with new 400 cc saline implants, addition of Surgimend (acellular dermal matrix) as an internal bra for support of the implant position and to help prevent recurrent capsular contracture; bilateral mastopexy (breast lift). Note that there was no change in implant size, but the breasts appear softer and a little smaller, since they now have a natural shape and aren’t misshapen from capsular contracture. Also note that the nipples appear more symmetric, now that the implants are more symmetric.

Dr. Kavali removed her smooth round moderate profile 286 cc Allergan gel implants and replaced them with low profile 200 cc gel implants. She also had a mastopexy with some breast reduction as well as liposuction of her lower back and upper inner thighs. She is shown before and about 6 months after surgery.
Notes: This 57 year old female had a breast augmentation years earlier and came to Dr. Kavali with increasing pain and hardness in her left breast (capsular contracture). Both her implants were ruptured and needed to be removed. She chose to have her ruptured Mentor implants removed, as well as the scar capsules due to their thickening. Dr. Kavali placed new Allergan silicone gel implants, 500 cc high profile, smooth, round, below the muscle. She had a breast lift at the same time to tighten loose skin in her breasts. She also had a mini-tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) to improve a scar from prior abdominal surgery done elsewhere. She is shown before and about 8 weeks after surgery.
Notes: This 31 year old female had prior breast augmentation with her implants placed below the muscle. Both her implants ended up sitting lower than ideal (bottoming out). She chose to have revision surgery to correct the implant position on both sides. Notes: This 47 year old fit female had a prior breast augmentation and breast lift (augmentation mastopexy) 12 years earlier with silicone gel implants under the muscle. She returned due to breast and abdomen changes over time, wanting smaller, lifted breasts and less loose skin on her abdomen. Dr. Kavali performed a bilateral breast implant exchange with removal of Allergan smooth, round, moderate profile, silicone gel implants, 397 cc and placement of Allergan smooth round silicone gel implants, moderate profile 330 cc. She chose to have both implants removed and new ones placed, as well as a revision of her prior breast lift (mastopexy). She had new smooth, round, Allergan silicone gel implants, 365 cc, placed in the same pocket (under the muscle) using her existing scars, which were also used to create an updated breast lift (mastopexy).
